This weekend, the Thames Hare and Hounds 65th Alumni race saw 272 runners complete the course. The Old Etonian Cross Country team entered their largest ever number, with 13 runners competing. OE runners won three of the race categories. The team also took bronze in two categories: V50 Chataway trophy, and Age Graded. William Ryle-Hodges (RGGP 11) won the race overall, in a blistering 26:55, this is the fastest recorded mark by an OE at the Alumni Race, despite the course being 500m longer this year. Will also won the Age Graded category. Hugh Balfour (RDB 67) won the V60 race, and recorded the fastest V60 time for an OE at the Alumni Race, beating the previous best by approximately 10 minutes! Hugh also scored for the team in the M50 category, finishing 9th. He was 11th in the Age Graded category.
